Gabriel's broken arm

Poor Gabriel tripped and fell at church last Sunday while playing ball and broke his arm! :(

Ouch! He was so tough and only cried a little bit. Many people told us he did better than most grown-ups!

 

 

 They gave him a 'conscious sedation' while they set the bones. This was right after that...still a little groggy.

 Much better! The pain was gone as soon as they did the reduction!

 Smile! He was ready to go home!

We had an appointment yesterday with the orthopedic doctor, but after waiting for 1.5 hours, he told us that it was too early to do anything and we'll have to come back on Monday. Wish they would have told us that before we made our appointment! At least he didn't charge us anything for the wasted visit. If all is well, he should get a cast on Monday (his arm is in a splint now).
