Dominoes!

Swimming in the neighbors' pool...

This is how he prefers to read his chapter books.
He's suddenly really into stuffed animals...never has been before though!
He went to work with Daddy and got to swim in a customer's pool!

We had an ultrasound a few weeks ago, and then another one just to be sure...and...it's a GIRL! :D

He loves to draw dragons...
What the puppies did to his face the day we were supposed to get passport photos taken. Luckily we had another week left to take them! He absolutely loves playing puppy though!
The annual Frontier Day in Pottsboro was a rainy one this year!

His last year riding this one...next year he'll be too big!
Same rooster as previous years, they repainted all the animals on the carrousel!
Cary and Gabriel thought this ride would be fun...I told them to at least wait until after they saw it in action...which they didn't! Never again! ;)
At least Gabriel still came out with a smile :)

Cary made this beautiful picnic table!
 Personalized with all our names...
...including the name we picked for our little girl!

August 2013

We found this little critter and weren't sure if it was a mantis, or a stick bug. Turns out it is a 'stick mantis'! ;)

 Too much fun!
Mango ate half a bag of chicken feed and we had to take him to the vet. Thankfully he was okay!

One of his many Lego creations...

Gabriel on a 'new' scooter that Daddy found on the bottom of a pool. Of course the motor no longer runs, but Gabriel likes it anyway ;)

Found some cool books in the 99 cent bin at Hastings! :)
And we came across this in the parking lot one day...

Daddy got him a new BB gun!
He cut off the end so it's not too big for him.

Great mac n cheese at Palio's Pizza Cafe.

First day of second grade (August 13th)!

Homeschool with breakfast, PJs and messy hair...
And we got him a 4-wheeler (for cheap)...so spoiled! ;)

Handwriting practice...
Never too big for the rides at the mall!
