Picture, park, classes, wedding & dominoes

Gabriel made this picture for Oma's birthday...
...and it made it all the way to Holland!
 Captain America...
Gabriel and his friend Josiah burying acorns at the park.
 Look!

Gabriel playing big brother to Josiah's little brother, Elijah...awww!
He wants to be a construction worker when he grows up (at homeschool co-op dress-up class).
Playing 'Simon says' in his gym class.
Picking flowers with 2 girls from his class.
 Giving flowers to the girls...awww!
Gabriel got to be the ring bearer for Cary's cousin Jaime's wedding!

Grayson County Fair 2012

Sunday the 14th we went to the Grayson County Fair. We got to pet a baby zebra and a kangaroo!

 Who is the cutest?
 The kangaroo was really soft!
Wild animal show...glad I wasn't on that stage!
 First 'ride' of the day...

 Sharing a turkey leg...

This ride was a little boring... ;)

 This was his favorite ride!

Gabriel and I on the big slide...

Gabriel really wanted to go on this ride...
...but he didn't like it...it was too scary!
Gabriel & I on the ferris wheel.
 View from the top...
One more time at the petting zoo...

Dressing up, broken arm & more

A 'new' garbage truck from the resale barn...with lights and sounds!

At our homeschool co-op classes...

Visiting a sweet lady from our Meals on Wheels route
Trying on an outfit for Cary's cousin's wedding...Gabriel will be the ring bearer!

Or maybe we should go with this instead?
It was a cold morning and the horses were trying to stay out of the wind...
We had a little birthday party for Nanni last week. Here is Gabriel trying to be patient (he had been waiting to try that cake ever since I made it the day before!).
 Happy Birthday, Nanni!
Last week, Gabriel's cast was finally removed (okay, it was only 3 weeks, but the last week was very smelly!). The doctor said it was 90% healed and he needs to wear a removable splint for 2 weeks (only 1 week left!). You can see on the x-ray that new bone has formed around the breaks.
His arm is still a little bit crooked, but it should straighten out in the next 6-12 months.
Cutting the cast with a special saw that cannot cut skin!
Back home and playing with the chickens...

Shopping at Kroger. He got to push a little cart and check out our groceries (all 5 items ;) )!
Back from the library...we got 'only' 37 books! The limit on his card is 99 books...crazy! Most of these are for homeschooling (we learn about a new country & animal every week).
